I haven't done anything all day!

When it is 5:00pm and David is due home at any time, I race around the house straightening up, doing the dishes, changing laundry...all the while saying, "Crap, I haven't done anything all day!"

But when I think about what I did do, it may not have been related to housework, but I do alot every day, especially when Chris is off track and home with me all day.

For instance, one day Chris and I played Wii all day- literally, until 5:00pm. We were playing bowling, and doing really silly stuff while throwing the ball down the alley. I made him laugh so bad he was crying. I'm not sure I ever made him laugh so hard before, except for maybe when he was a baby and 'everything' was silly to him. I didn't do any housework, but I made a huge memory with my son. He will remember me playing video games with him, not that I didn't have time for him b/c I was always cleaning.

Chris and I share many memories - snuggling on the couch in the morning while we wake up, writing each other letters back and forth, playing at the park....I'm just so blessed. Money is tight, but the time I get to spend with Chris is priceless and well worth the money trouble.

So what if I don't clean as much as I could...I've got more important things to do....like LIFE.
